Confessions of an Impulsive Lazybones: The Genesis of AyosPush
I’m going to be honest with you, even if it’s my only virtue today: I am a very lazy person. I’ll repeat it, just so we’re clear: laziness is my natural state. But luckily for me, where some see a flaw, I see the engine of my ingenuity. In exchange for this legendary lethargy, I received a "gift" that those around me often describe as risky: impulsivity.
My creative process is simple: I take a walk, an idea flashes through my mind, and immediately, I have to test it. It doesn't matter how many times I hear "It’s dangerous," "You don’t have the resources," or "You don’t have the connections." I move forward, period.
The Spark Amidst the Lines of Code
I don’t remember exactly when the idea for AyosPush struck me. At the time, I was working for a company specializing in integrating online payments via Mobile Money. I was already using solutions like Twilio to send authentication codes over WhatsApp.
It was the dawn of the AI era with ChatGPT. Watching merchants struggle with hundreds of WhatsApp conversations without being able to keep up, I had a revelation: why not combine the power of AI automation, Mobile Money payments, and WhatsApp to buy them back some time?
The Developer Desert (Or the Art of Solo Coding)
This is where the trouble began. Armed with my impulsivity, I went looking for accomplices. I dreamed of finding other passionate developers ready to sacrifice their nights for glory (and for free, obviously!).
The result? Radio silence worthy of a deep-space movie. Apparently, my "impulsive lazybones" charisma wasn't enough to convince the crowds to work without a paycheck. I had to face the facts: if I wanted this project to see the light of day, my best partner would be my own keyboard. It’s crazy how productive you become when you’re the only one who believes in your idea!
The Boxing Match with Meta
If you think coding an app is hard, try understanding Meta’s API documentation. It’s a labyrinth where every hallway leads to a new shadow zone. Between the technical configuration and the obstacle course that is Meta Business Manager verification, I nearly lost the little patience I had left.
It is an indispensable but formidable step. In fact, if you’re reading this and pulling your hair out over your own Meta integration, don’t hesitate to reach out: I now offer consulting to help you avoid the scars I collected.
The Finale: AyosPush is Born
Finally, after nearly a year of intense development, doubt, and cold coffee, the project is here. What was once a fleeting thought during a stroll has become a concrete platform for marketing automation and customer support via WhatsApp.
AyosPush isn't just a tool; it’s proof that an impulsive lazy person, when they actually get to work, can transform the chaos of business conversations into a fluid and profitable automated system.
